Tickled Pink's 4th Birthday w/ Danny Bonnici (Live) July 31

The Tickled Pink crew are back on July 31st to celebrate 4 fantastic years of TP, introduce a new Pink lady resident DJ, welcome back one of our favourite 'Flavours' & take away those Winter blues!!

This month we are celebrating a milestone & we want you to help us party, Four years of Tickled Pink is no mean feat and it's because of you guys that we made it this far so thank you! Before midnight, look out for the Pink Ladies bringing around trays of special Pink Cocktails to get you in the party mood. So arrive early, join in the festivities & listen to sounds from Raph who is making his debut DJ set on the TP decks doing the warm up set.

We are also welcoming a new lass to join the TP crew. Sass' departure made room for a new female resident & we thought Atonix was the perfect addition.

Already an established DJ in the Melbourne dance scene, Atonix (Nicky) began DJing in 2005. Since then she has been recognised as one of Melbourne's crowd favourites, playing at many of Australia's clubs, and has been a fixture in the outdoor party scene. Recently she has played in both Germany and France and last year Nicky won the Pioneer Pro Dj Competition. Her sets comprise mainly of phat funky progressive music, whether it be house, electro, minimal or techno. Nicky's tunes & positive infectious vibe will leave the Tickled Pink dance floor shakin'!

Danny Bonnici absolutely smashed TP last year, so we thought it was only fitting that we invite one of our favourite guests back for our birthday celebrations. Bonnici has just released & started performing his new live performance. He has taken the next step in his DJ sets by integrating parts from various other tracks, drum tracks, acapella's & complete compositions to create a hybrid mix of DJ'ing and live performance. Taking elements from his own & other current pieces such as chords melodies, acapella's, percussion & mixing them with other drum grooves using the new Vestax VCM, Danny is able to create new pieces on the fly & even segway parts between pieces to create an experience where the mix is constant & a certain piece of music is difficult to discern from one mix to the other. This is sure to be something special that you don't want to miss!
